Mrs. Tennill is a familiar face at Putnam. Not only did she graduate from Putnam County High School (2003), but she has served as a paraprofessional for four years while working on her Master's degree and raising a family. This will be her first year teaching.

Frances says, "I chose to come home to Putnam because of the students. Working with the students has captured my heart. I want to help them grow and learn as much as possible."

When asked who or what inspired her to pursue a career in education, Frances replied, "My family inspired me. My grandmother was a Headstart teacher and I have a few aunts that are teachers as well."

Mrs. Tennill has been married for 12 years to the love of her life, Mr. John Tennill. Together, they have four children. Graycie Mae, Leelynd, Maggey Mae, and J.E. When she's not busy with her family or school, you can find Frances enjoying remodeling, woodworking, or watching her kiddos play at a sporting event.

Mrs. Tennill, we are grateful to have you in the Middle School this year! Please help us give her a warm Putnam County welcome!
