Morning Crew

Afternoon crew of intro to Building Trades students.

The students in building trades have been working on building a garden shed. They have learned how to layout, assemble, and errect walls for the shed. We did a unit on how to figure the correct length for a roof rafter, and how to cut and install the rafters. We sheathed the roof then students installed shingles on the roof. That's as far as we are now but we are going to install windows, soffit, facia, and metal siding to complete the shed.

Updated on November 1, 2016: the shed is completed and ready to go home with its very satisfied owners.
