Dylan Hamilton receives American FFA Degree

Putnam County R-I High School is proud to recognize PCHS Class of 2024 alumnae, Dylan Hamilton and Emma Whitlock, for earning their American FFA Degree, the highest honor awarded by the National FFA Organization.
Dylan represented Putnam County R-I at the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, where she was recognized on stage for this outstanding achievement. Emma was unable to attend in person, but both young women have demonstrated years of hard work, leadership, and dedication to agricultural education.
The American FFA Degree is known as the gold standard in FFA accomplishments. It honors members who have gone above and beyond to develop leadership skills, achieve career success, and give back through community service and their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE).

To qualify, members must meet rigorous standards, including earning the State FFA Degree, maintaining active membership for at least three years, completing secondary instruction in agricultural education, and demonstrating excellence in leadership, scholarship, and service.
At Putnam County R-I, achievements like these highlight the strength of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and support our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) goals—preparing every student for life after high school through hands-on learning, leadership, and real-world career skills.
Congratulations to Dylan and Emma on this exceptional accomplishment. Their dedication and leadership exemplify what it means to be Putnam Proud.
