Putnam County R-I School District is committed to providing our students with strong academic opportunities, meaningful support, and a learning environment that prepares them for success.

Each year, Missouri school districts receive an Annual Performance Report (APR) as part of the Missouri School Improvement Program. The APR provides a snapshot of district performance in areas such as academic achievement, student growth, attendance, graduation, college and career readiness, and continuous improvement.

Our results help us celebrate areas of success while also identifying opportunities to improve.

For 2025, Putnam County R-I earned:

167.5 out of 196 possible points
85.4% of total APR points earned

This reflects improvement from:

2024: 80.7%
2023: 82.9%

The district also earned 100% of available continuous improvement points in 2025.

The 2025 APR shows several areas of strong performance and growth:

• Advanced Credit: 100%
• Science Academic Growth: 100%
• Continuous Improvement: 100%

The district was also rated On Track in academic achievement for English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and related student groups.

Academic Growth & Achievement

Our district continues to review MAP and End-of-Course assessment data across multiple years to better understand how students are progressing.

Elementary students are showing strong gains in reading and mathematics following focused interventions and curriculum alignment. As those students move into middle school, we are beginning to see that growth carry forward. Our goal is to continue building on that momentum through middle school and into high school.

End-of-Course results also show areas of strength, along with areas where continued professional learning and targeted support will remain priorities.

Attendance & Engagement

Regular attendance continues to be an important part of student success.

Putnam County R-I earned 100% of available APR points for attendance in 2025 as part of the district's continuous improvement measures.

We will continue encouraging consistent attendance and working with families to address barriers that may prevent students from being at school and ready to learn.

Where We Go From Here

The APR is more than a score. It is one tool we use to guide district planning and continuous improvement.

Moving forward, Putnam County R-I will continue to:

• Analyze multi-year student data to identify strengths and areas for growth.
• Share results with staff, families, and community partners.
• Prioritize resources toward evidence-based interventions, including early reading support and attendance outreach.
• Support teachers and students with targeted professional learning and resources.
