We’re celebrating outstanding character and leadership at Putnam County High School! 🌟
👏 Character Education Award Winner – Self-Control:
Congratulations to Senior, Hoyt Halley! Hoyt demonstrates self-control through his steady work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to balance humor and focus in every situation. He leads with integrity and kindness—setting a great example for others to follow.

Unionville Rotary Club Student of the Month: Hadley Altiser

Congratulations to Freshman, Hadley Altiser! Hadley shines with her determination, work ethic, can-do attitude, and teamwork. Her willingness to be coachable while keeping a positive attitude makes her a great representative of our student body.

Career & Technical Education Student of the Month: Senior, Chad Wysocki

🔧 Congratulations to Chad! Chad Wysocki, was selected by his CTE teachers for his perseverance, teamwork, humility, and strong work ethic. Chad shows what it means to stay dedicated and positive—great job leading by example, Chad!

🍎 Staff Shining Star of the Month: Mrs. Erin Hinkle


Congratulations to Mrs. Erin Hinkle, Agriculture Teacher and FFA Sponsor! Mrs. Hinkle was was chosen by our students for her dedication, creativity, and positive energy. Between teaching, leading FFA events, and balancing life as a busy mom, Mrs. Hinkle continues to inspire her students to love learning and give back to the community. (Not pictured that day as she was in Indiana for National FFA Convention with students.)

🚗 Guest Speakers: BUPD (Buckle Up, Phone Down) Challenge
A special thank you to Mr. Shawn Gott, Administrator for the Unionville Ambulance District and Paramedic, and Mrs. Jill Payne from the Putnam County Health Department, for visiting with our students to share valuable reminders about safe driving. Mr. Gott’s stories from the field drove home the importance of wearing a seatbelt—every single time.
What a fantastic assembly celebrating safety, service, and character! 💙
