Torch Point Challenge Winners! 🔥
Yesterday, during professional development, our teachers carried the torch of instruction that ignites learning! In the challenge, teams planned Artisan Teacher moves within their lesson plans, earning points for going the extra mile.
All participants completed:
A short lesson tweak or routine, tagged with their chosen Artisan Teacher theme
A wrap-up commitment card: “I will try this plan on _____ day and look for _____ outcome.”
Teams could earn extra Torch Points by:
Peer Support: Helping colleagues refine or problem-solve (+1 per interaction, +2 if across teams)
Intentional Repetition: Scheduling theme tweaks in multiple lessons (+1 per instance, max 3)
Bonus Creativity: Giving their tweak a fun, student-friendly name (+1)
Congrats to our winners for planning with intention, supporting each other, and adding creativity—truly igniting student learning! 🔥
