Stepping Up for Putnam County Students!👟💙

We are incredibly thankful for our community partners, NEMR and Shoes from the Heart, for their generosity and heart for helping kids!
Today, representatives from NEMR — Gracey Gordon, Tristan Klinginsmith, and Justin Riley — stopped by Putnam County Elementary with two boxes of brand-new shoes for our students. Joining them were Superintendent Mrs. Jonnie Beavers, PCHS Principal Mrs. Tiffani Klinginsmith, and Gina and a team member from Shoes from the Heart, a Missouri-based nonprofit that’s been “changing lives one step at a time” since 2012.
👣 About Shoes from the Heart:
Their mission is simple but powerful — to make sure every child has a new pair of tennis shoes. Not used. Not worn out. Brand new. Because when a child has good shoes, they walk taller, smile bigger, and feel like they belong. ❤️
This donation supports our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) goals of student well-being and community collaboration. Partnerships like this help ensure every student is ready to learn, grow, and thrive — one step at a time.
