Putnam County Football to Host 7-on-7 at Dave Mitchell Field!

PUTNAM COUNTY FOOTBALL IS BACK! 
The offseason may be in full swing, but our boys in blue haven't slowed down for a second.
Since the final whistle of an unforgettable 2025 season, our football players have been hard at work in the weight room, on the practice field, and at summer 7-on-7 competitions—building on the momentum of a remarkable State Runner-Up finish and preparing for the challenges ahead.
Recently, the Midgets traveled to Higginsville for a weekend of scrimmages, and tonight they'll hit the road again for a 7-on-7 at Clark County. Then, on Thursday, June 25, the action comes home as Putnam County hosts an all-day 7-on-7 event right here at Dave Mitchell Field!
This is a great opportunity for fans, families, and community members to get an early look at the team and support our student-athletes as they continue putting in the work for the upcoming season.
Come hungry! The El Nopal Food Truck of Trenton will be serving delicious Mexican food from lunchtime into the afternoon. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Putnam County Football Touchdown Club, helping provide snacks and support for our players throughout the season.
Stay cool! Kona Ice will also be on site, so bring your Kona cup or grab your favorite shaved ice treat with cash or card while you enjoy the competition.Whether you're a longtime football fan or simply looking for a fun way to spend part of your day, we invite you to join us at the field, cheer on the Midgets, enjoy some great food, and celebrate the hard work these young men are putting in this summer.
