Senior Spotlight time!

Help us congratulate Miss Erinn Dodsworth!

Erinn is the daughter of Lora and Brian Rigdon and Curtis Dodsworth.

We asked Erinn to tell us about her favorite class in high school. Here's what she had to say:

"My favorite class at Putnam is a solid tie. I absolutely love my college English class and my Yearbook class. Each day I always enjoy our long talks in English. Mrs Owings always adds great questions or comments that further my perspective. She has such a lighthearted nature and genuinely cares about every student. She's always willing to help, or just listen. I also love the yearbook class for the great laughs we have and the stories we share. Mrs. Fleshman always motivates me to have the most perfect version of my pages, even if I restart about a hundred times."

"Throughout my four years of high school, I have been involved in FCCLA, SADD, FFA, Yearbook, NHS, DECA, FBLA and PC Varsity Cheer. My most memorable moment was coming off the mat after my final competition performance for PC competition cheer. I'll never forget that feeling, we hit absolutely everything just as we wanted to and I left four years of work on that mat. Hearing our name announced as first place was the cherry on top of an amazing senior year in cheer. I can't wait to come back to support PC cheer, even if just from the stands. I would like to add how much I appreciated everything the community has done for us cheerleaders, I cannot thank you guys enough for all of your support during our competition seasons! We all really appreciated you! The staff member that has had the biggest impact on me at Putnam County has been my cheer coach, Lisa Stobbe. Through each year I can credit all of my progress and growth to my coach. I would not have gotten to where I am without her help, guidance, and push. She always motivated me to work harder, have a better attitude, and make every rep count. Thank you, Mrs. Stobbe, for an amazing four years!"

Erinn's advice for incoming freshmen: "Try everything, go out for anything that interests you, including clubs. You can always decide not to continue a sport or club the following year, but don't miss out on finding something you love your first year!"

"After graduation, I plan to attend MACC for 1 year to complete my Associate's degree and then transfer to Mizzou to finish my education. I will be majoring in Business Administration. In 5 to 10 years I see myself settled down with a family and working at a job that I enjoy each day."
