Back to School 2027-2027

Everything you need to get ready for a great start to the new school year, all in one place.

Welcome from PCR-I

A Message from the Superintendent

Dear Putnam County R-I Students, Families, and Community,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As I begin my second year as Superintendent of Putnam County R-I, I am grateful and excited for the year ahead. Over the past year, I have learned even more about what makes Putnam County special: the people who care deeply about our students, our schools, and our community.

Our theme for this year is One Team. One Mission. One Future. These words reflect what I believe makes rural public schools so special. Our students' success is a shared effort among dedicated staff, involved families, supportive community members, and students who are ready to learn and grow. We may each play a different role, but we are all part of the same team.

At Putnam County R-I, our mission is Creating Opportunities Through Quality Education. From our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, we want every student to have opportunities to discover their strengths, develop new skills, and prepare for whatever comes next. When our schools, families, and community work together, we can accomplish great things for our students and for the future of Putnam County.

This Back-to-School Hub is designed to help your family start the year informed and ready. If you have questions along the way, please reach out. We are here to help.

Thank you for being part of the Putnam County R-I family. I look forward to seeing our students, families, and staff throughout the year and celebrating the many great things happening across our district.

Let's make it a great year, Midgets!

One Team. One Mission. One Future.

Mrs. Jonnie Beavers
Superintendent
Putnam County R-I School District
