FFA Hayride and Barnwarming Held
The Putnam County FFA Chapter held their annual Hayride and Barnwarming October 8, 2016. Approximately 75 members and guest enjoyed an hour long hayride northwest of town and came back for roasted hotdogs and s’mores. After eating, members headed to the Ag shop to finish out the night enjoying dancing, listening to music, and ping pong. The members also enjoyed watching the FFA King and Queen candidates compete in games to determine this year’s Barnwarming King and Queen. The contestants competed in a two step dance contest, wheelbarrow race, and a stick horse race. This year’s contestants were: Torque B and Kori H (Freshman); Kaleb S and Alisha W (Sophomores); Tristen M and Shelby S ( Juniors); and Wyatt R and Selby S (Seniors). The contest resulted in Wyatt R being the Barnwarming King and Selby S being the Barnwarming Queen. Thank you to everyone who provided tractors, wagons, and hay.
