New Squad for 2011-2012 Putnam County Cheerleaders

    Tryouts for the 2011-2012 Putnam County Cheerleading teams were held the week of March 28th – April 1st. Approximately 25 girls tried out for the 10 Varsity and 10 Junior Varsity positions. The girls practiced throughout the week to perfect a group cheer and the school song. Throughout the week the girls worked hard to perfect their cheers and their hard work was evident during the try-out process. The following individuals will be a part of Putnam County Cheerleading for the 2010-2011 seasons.

    Both squads will be beginning preparations for 2011 season in May. They will be attending practices leading up to their first UCA stunt camp in Liberty, MO. The girls will also be attending a home camp in June to help prepare for the season. In addition to a Varsity squad, it is promising to have a full Junior Varsity team excited to develop their skills. They will represent Putnam County only in the best way. With hard work, commitment, and preparation it is sure to be an exciting year for the Putnam County Cheerleaders!
