Missouri Football Coaches Association Winners

Qualifications for the MFCA awards are rigorous and for the first time in many years Putnam has cleaned up with a significant share of honors.  All-State Football Academic Winner certificates were given to Calvin H., Tanner B., and Levi F.  This is Tanner's third consecutive year to have achieved this award.

In the MFCA All-State Football category, Putnam has not been recognized in many years; this season we came our with two winners. Ryan V. and Tanner B. earned the All-State Football awards. This award is based on football merit.  The better the team plays as a whole, the more likely it is that an individual will be noticed by representative coaches from the MFCA panel.

All-District Football award winners were Tanner B., MFCA All District LB, Tanner B., MFCA All-District RB, Ryan V., MFCS All District DL, Ryan V., MFCA All District OL, Dereck L., MFCA All District OL, Carson Q., MFCA All District RB.  This season's high volume of awards reflects overall team improvement and yearlong training.  The hard work these students put in off season is definitely paying off.

When you see these young men and their coaches, please be sure to congratulate them.  

Another group deserving a pat on the back is the set of seniors who have played football all four years of high school.  Due to the generosity of a community member, Ryan, Derek, Tanner, Jacob, Calvin and Jake H. will be taking their jerseys home with them as a nice souvenir of their PC football career.
