Softball Hit-a-Thon a Success!

The annual softball hit-a-thon was held on August 26, 2021. Nine thousand dollars was raised for the softball program through pledges and donations.
The hit-a-thon fundraiser stands on a more than thirty-year tradition in Putnam County. Players participated in distance hitting, base running, and home run competitions for pledges. The hit-a-thon was followed by a scrimmage, showcasing the players on the team.
Donations from the fundraiser helped pay for new banners, batting cage nets, training tools, and equipment.
The Putnam County Lady Midgets wish to thank all the businesses and individuals and Triple B’s food trailer for their contributions to the Hit-a-thon. They also wish to express their appreciation to parents, school staff, and community members for their support.
