Ugly Sweater Contest
The Ugly Christmas Sweater contest was held on Wednesday, January 09, 2013 rescheduled due to inclement weather. The event was sponsored by the Putnam County Freshmen Economics classes and student led Rotary Interact service organization partnered to raise money for the local food pantry and the Valentine family. Donation cups were set out with for students and staff to donate loose change for there favorite staff member to wear the Ugly Christmas sweater. Our faculty winner with the most money donated was Mr. Ben Brummit. Winners were chosen from different categories; Most Festive: Justin D.; Most Embellished: Jill L.; Who Rocked the Ugly Christmas Sweater: Hannah G.; So Ugly it’s Cute Christmas Sweater: Alex F.; Holly Jolly Vomit Christmas Sweater: Christian B.. We would also like to thank Mrs. Partridge for her creative idea of the Christmas sweater trees as our prizes, Samantha S. for making the trees happen, and everyone in Art class that helped construct the trees.
