NHS Inducts Members

Twenty-two juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society October 7.  Members were chosen based on the traits of scholarship, leadership, character and service.  The candlelight ceremony was conducted by NHS officers Tyler, Shaylee, Latisha and Haley.  Austin also assisted.

 Mr. Jason Salas, high school English teacher, presented the induction address.  He complimented the parents for their part in their student’s achievements and encouraged the inductees to keep learning.   

National Honor Society members organize the Veterans Day Assembly and blood drive in January.
