Veterans Day Coming Soon
The 5th grade students have been working hard to complete their Old Glory Flag Projects in time for the Veterans Day Assembly on November 11, 2016. All students will present their flag to a family or friend during the assembly at 9:00 a.m. in the Putnam County R-I High School Gym.
If you are a parent or caregiver to one of the 5th grade students and would like to help matte and frame the flags, please contact Mrs. Diane McClain at 660-947-3361 ext. 329 or stop by and let her know. The tenative plan is to have all flags ready to frame in the next week and parent volunteers will be contacted when a date and time is scheduled after school.
The framed flags are a special keepsake and cost $20.00 per student. If you have not already paid for your child's flag you may send money to the school marked for the Old Glory Project. If a family is unable to afford the project, the PTO has graciously offered to assist. Hope to see you at the Veterans Day Assembly!
