PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Carleigh Kauzlarich

🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼‍🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Carleigh Kauzlarich!
🤍Carleigh is the daughter of Megan Finch Hines and Jason Kauzlarich.
💙Carleigh's favorite quote: "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory."
💙Carleigh has been active in FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, and Art Club during her high school years.
💙We asked Carleigh what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "Be involved in as many clubs and other activities as possible and believe it when they say high school goes by fast because I never believed it until now."
😂Carleigh's funniest memory from high school was: "Probably when we went on a college visit to IHCC and we almost backed up into a stop sign on a one-way street. That day was fun with my classmates. We had a jam-out session on the way back to school."
👩🏼‍🎓Carleigh plans to attend@Indian Hills Community College to earn her teaching degree.
💙We asked Carleigh what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "My favorite class would probably be one of Mrs. Dickerson's because she always made the class fun and if you were ever hungry she would always have food for you, even if it was hers. If you had a bad day she always understood and would go easy on you."
🎯When asked where she sees herself in 5-10 years, Carleigh replied, "In 5-10 years, I see myself living my best life with a career that supports my independence and love for travel."
🏀Carleigh told us her most memorable moment was probably all the basketball games she went to. She said, "I loved being a part of the student section and dressing up and cheering loud and proud for our boys."
💙We asked Carleigh what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She said, "I would say Mr. Mayer because he always had something to say even when I was having a bad day and he would make it better. In gym class, I would sometimes have an attitude but he dealt with it and would always check up on me."
Congratulations, Carleigh! We are #PutnamProud of you! #pchsclassof2023 #PutnamProud
