🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Hillary Shahan!
🤍Hillary is the daughter of David and Lisa Shahan.
💙Hillary's favorite quote: "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples." - Mother Teresa
💙Hillary has been active in FFA, DECA, SADD, NHS, and Interact during her high school years.
💙We asked Hillary what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "High school isn't your whole life. Don't worry."
😂Hillary's funniest memory from high school: "The day Ms. Tosspon kept dropping her phone in the trash by accident while on a phone call, but truly any moment in her class was the funniest."
👩🏼🎓Hillary plans to earn a degree in early childhood development and after a few years start a daycare, and possibly sell real estate on the side.
💙We asked Hillary what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "My favorite class was Mrs. Cowles's first hour because her class was always so chill, and a good way to start my day."
😎When asked where she sees herself in 5-10 years, Hillary replied, "In 5-10 years, I see myself hopefully tan and on a boat, living my best life."
👧👦Hillary told us her most memorable moments were "Probably while being a tutor in first grade and kindergarten. Hearing the absurd things little kids would say every day truly made my day, and little kids are always happy to see you, so it was a positive part of my every day."
💙We asked Hillary what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She replied, "Ms. Tosspon. Her kindness to others and mindset on life really rubs off on you. She is always giving the best, honest advice and she's really helped changed my outlook on lots of things. Her humor is a bonus to my day too."
