New Year, New Ideas, and a New Face
My Title 1 Reading classroom has seen big changes at the start of this school year. I have a new aide to introduce: Mrs. Melody Dickerson has joined me in my classroom. She is helping me with our classroom activities. We can split our small groups into smaller groups and work with individual students in a more one-to-one situation. We are trying to focus on each individual student’s reading needs in hopes to help them to progress their reading scores more quickly. My small room now has dividing shelves to separate it into two halves. So far we are making this work. The year is still young. If you are the parent of any student we work with, please feel free to call with questions any time after 2:45 pm every day; this is our planning time, so we are in and out of the room at this time completing tasks for the day. Please be patient, we will return a call if you leave a message or you may just want to call back. Thank you.
