Roots, Prefixes, and Suffixes!

Together, we learned how a prefix or suffix can change the meaning of a word. We first looked up the root word and then put together words by adding a prefix or suffix. We looked up the meanings of the words before and after in the dictionary to see how the words changed. The students loved the activity! Learning is FUN!
