Congratulations to the KIRX/KRXL/KTUF JAMCO Awards Athlete of the Week, Zach Heidenwith! Zach is a Senior at Putnam County R-I and is a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court and baseball diamond. Zach was named the MVP of the Tri-Rivers Classic Tourney. The PC Boys are now 8-0. Zach is averaging 16 pts, 7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2 steals per game. He is also shooting 35% from beyond the arc.
Zach was presented with the JAMCO award by Head Basketball Coach, Kyle Fleshman.
Fun fact, Assistant Coach, and big brother, Calvin Heidenwith, was also awarded the JAMCO Awards Athlete of the Week when he was a Senior at Putnam. Looks like athleticism, hard work, and accolades run in the family.
