PCR-I Welcomes Mrs. Andi Ryals Foster!
Help us welcome our next #HometownHero, Mrs. Andi Ryals Foster!
Andi was born and raised in Putnam County. After graduating from PCR-I, she attended Northwest Missouri State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She also has her Master's in Administration from William Woods University.
Andi and her husband Matt live in Unionville. They have four children! Madden will be an 8th-grader, Roper a 5th-grader, Whitlee a 3rd-grader, and Brisby will be 3 at the end of July.
This will be Andi’s 18th year of teaching. She taught 5th grade for 17 years at Green City and is looking forward to teaching middle school math this year at PCR-I.
In her spare time, you will find Andi chasing and cheering their kids in whatever they are involved in. Andi and Matt have both been volunteering for the Unionville Rec league for several years and in the summer you can find them at ballgames the whole month of June.
Andi also enjoys helping Matt in the hayfield and with cattle. Her favorite thing to do on the farm is taking pictures of the scenery and cattle. She tells us there's nothing quite like her mom's sweet and sour chicken paired with a Pepsi or sweet tea.
Fun fact: Andi enjoys reading mysteries or informational texts on how to become a better leader. When she's not working, coaching, or corralling cattle or kids, you can find her spending time with family, sneaking in an occasional nap, or snapping photos.
