To Parents and Players of Junior High Basketball 2019:
Basketball is right around the corner. October 15, 2019, will the first practice from 3:30-4:30. Practice schedules are being sent home for October and November. The boys' last football game is October 22, 2019, with their first practice being Wednesday, October 23, 2019, (non-football players will practice with the girls until they start). A parent meeting will be held Thursday, October 24t, 2019, at 5:30 pm in the HS commons for boys and girls teams.
If an athlete hasn’t played a fall sport they will need a physical before they can begin practicing. Also, the IMPACT test and student-athlete paperwork will need to be completed if not already done.
Team shoes are not required. However, if there is enough interest a team shoe can be ordered for a discounted price, please let Coach Klingner if you want a team shoe. Team shooting shirts are available from Dannco and are going to be sublimated. These take 5 weeks to make, so we need to turn in the order form by Friday, September 27, 2019, if ordering one. They can be paid for when they come in and will cost around $30.
