JH Basketball Hosts PC 8th-Grade Tournament: November 15, 16, 18, 2021.

Putnam County Middle School is pleased to host our annual 8th-Grade Basketball Tournament again this year. Our games will take place on Monday,Tuesday, and Thursday, November 15, 16, and 18, 2021.
Games will be played in the Putnam County High School Gymnasium, beginning at 4:30 pm each day for the girls, then 5:30 pm for boys, then 6:30 pm for girls, then the last game beginning at 7:30 pm.

On Monday, it's a battle of the big cats as the Milan Wildcats will play the Scotland County Tigers. Girls play at 4:30 pm, boys at 5:30 pm. Then the Putnam County Midgets host the Schuyler County Rams. The girls play at 6:30 pm, followed by the boys at 7:30 pm.
On Tuesday, November 16, the Schuyler County Rams host the Milan Wildcats beginning at 4:30 pm for the girls, and 5:30 pm for the boys. Then, it's a battle of the blue and white. Our Putnam County Midgets host the Scotland County Tigers, beginning at 6:30 pm with the ladies, and 7:30 pm for the guys.
Finally, on Thursday, November 18, the Scotland County Tigers face off against the Rams from Schuyler beginning at 4:30 pm for the girls, then 5:30 for the boys. Wrapping up the tournament, it's a rival battle between the Putnam County Midgets and the Milan Wildcats. Girls play at 6:30 pm and the boys play at 7:30 pm.
We will award a plaque to the winning teams. We will also be giving a sportsmanship award decided by the coaches and officials. The Schuyler County girls and boys both won the sportsmanship trophies last year.
