Working hard in 8th Grade
It has been a busy year in 8th grade. We have been working hard and moving quickly through the material. Thus far this year, we have covered Native Cultures, Exploration, the 13 Colonies, and the French and Indian War. We will begin our unit on the American Revolution on Monday. The big focus for our year is critical thinking through the analysis of Primary sources. This is quite a hard skill to master but we are slowly improving. We have started getting more of our homework turned in which has been a struggle for us this year.
I am excited to get into the Revolution with this group! They always have great points in class discussions and ask good questions.
