Jaydon Pribyl: PCHS Class of 2022 Senior Spotlight

Help us wish the best of luck to our next Senior Spotlight, Jaydon Pribyl!

Jaydon is the son of James and Julie Pribyl.

Jaydon's favorite quote is, "You don't have to be a perfectionist. You have to be focused." - Dan Peña

While in high school, Jaydon has been active in Baseball, Basketball, DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, and NHS.

His advice to freshmen: "Don't be afraid to take risks and make mistakes."

When we asked Jaydon about his funniest memory at Putnam: "There have been too many funny things happen in 4 years to narrow down just one, but I know I've had many laughs with my friends on the baseball field." He tells us his most memorable moment so far has been playing state baseball and winning 3rd place last Spring.

Jaydon tells us his favorite class at PCHS was, "probably Advertising class because everything about the class was fun. From setting up an event to planning it, we always had a good time. Mrs. Fitzpatrick definitely had the biggest impact on me. She helped me to be comfortable with being uncomfortable in stressful situations and it has definitely made me grow as an individual."

After graduation, Jaydon plans to attend NCMC  in Trenton and earn his Associate's degree in science. After graduating with his Associate's from NCMC, Jaydon plans to transfer to the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg to pursue a career as a professional pilot. In 5-10 years, Jaydon sees himself flying planes commercially or flying as an agricultural pilot.

Fun fact: Jaydon started taking flying lessons during the pandemic. He will soon have enough hours logged to begin flying solo. He also works at the airport in the summer and has been learning lots of hands-on experiences in the shop.

Congratulations, Jaydon! Best of luck this season in baseball and all the best to you in your future endeavors!
