Our administrative team and board of education have worked hard to try to be as creative and supportive as much as possible during these extraordinary times. This statement is used far too often by me now “if the social distancing guidelines set forth by the Governor are altered”. So, please understand that any or all of this could be altered by social distancing guidelines.
With that in mind, we have scheduled Prom for Friday, June 19th, the day prior to graduation. We chose this date so families in town for graduation would be able to see their student(s) take part in another milestone. We also selected back to back dates because some of our seniors have already started college courses or the workforce and wanted to make it easiest for them not to have to request time off or travel more than once. Because of the unique circumstances we find ourselves in, Prom will not be traditional. Below are the details.
Location: Pine Trail Wedding Venue and Events Barn
Prom sign-ups and ticket pick up will be from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, June 2nd-4th, at the high school office. Every junior and senior that signs up for prom will be added to the ballot for prom royalty. Students will vote when they arrive at Pine Trail.
Time Schedule, Friday, June 19, 2020:
5:30-6:15 Promenade Parade- Students will line up in the high school parking lot and pull out at 5:30. We will drive a few laps around the square and then caravan out to Pine Trail.
6:15-7:15 Dinner- Dinner will be catered and paid for by the Junior class.
7:15-8:30 Hypnotist
8:30-10:30 Dance
10:30-11:00 Prizes
