Character Education Winners for August & September 2020
Putnam County R-I Elementary Character Education 2020-2021
Katie H. has nominated Codie Williams for exemplifying the Character Education Word of the month RESPECT because Codie is always calm when kids are yelling or being rough. He is always happy when I get on the bus. He always asks politely and if they refuse he keeps his cool and tries to help to fix the situation. Codie puts a smile on my face even if I had a bad day. He is always there for me. He jokes and is really nice to talk to. I will always remember him. This is why I nominated Codie Williams.

Madilynn VanGenderen has nominated Justin VanGenderen for exemplifying the Character Education word of the month RESPONSIBILITY because my dad is always up at 6:00 in the morning to go do chores. He feeds and waters the cattle and makes sure all of them are okay. He is always out in pastures no matter how bad the weather is. In the winter he is feeding hay, in the summer he normally feeds corn. He is there when they are calving. Sometimes he delivers some of the babies. He also is always checking his corn and beans. In the spring he is planting and in the fall he is combing. He sells yearlings and buys crazy cows. He pays all the bills for the house. He takes care of me, mom and Hunter. That is why I nominated my dad for the character education word of the month responsibility.
