PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Brayden Walter

🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼‍🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Brayden Walter!
🤍Brayden is the son of Beth and Bryan Walter.
💙Brayden's favorite quote: "The moment you give up, is the moment you let someone else win." - Kobe Bryant

🤍While in school, Brayden has been involved in many activities. Check out what he told us about them. I have been a part of football team all throughout school and a captain my senior year. I am also a team player in baseball and basketball. While in high school I have been active in many clubs including the following: SADD - President, DECA - Vice President, National Honor Society - Treasurer, Interact - Member, FBLA, FCCLA, Yearbook, and an A+ Tutor. Some of the rewards I have earned are Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Academic All-State Baseball, Academic All-State Football, Missouri Football Coaches Association Hands Team, 2022 Football Leadership Award, 2nd Place at District DECA Competition - Financial Services & Decision Making, and 3rd FBLA District Competition.
💙We asked Brayden what his advice would be for incoming freshmen. He said, "Don't be scared to be yourself and get involved in as clubs and activities as you can."
😂Brayden's funniest memory from high school was being hypnotized at After-Prom party and watching the videos after.

💙Brayden plans to go to the University of Missouri and become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. in 10 years he says, "I could see myself owning my own physical therapy business."
🥧We asked Brayden what his favorite class was at Putnam. He told us, "My favorite class would have to be the P.E. class that I am a tech for Mr. Heidenwith. I have it last period and it is the best way to end the day. The environment of the class is amazing and is always making me laugh."

💙Brayden says his most memorable moment at Putnam would have to be how successful all of our sports programs have been. "Going on district and state runs with sports is so much fun, even if you are cheering the team on and not playing."
💙We asked Brayden what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on him and why. He shared, "The person at the school who has had the biggest impact on me would have to be Coach Mayer. He has coached me for multiple years in different sports. He has always been a good coach and pushed me to do better. He also knows how to have fun with us and just make us really enjoy practices."
Congratulations, Brayden! We are #PutnamProud of you! #pchsclassof2023 #PutnamProud
