PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Jude Pittman

🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👨‍🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Jude Pittman!
💙Jude is the son of Patrick Pittman.
🎯Jude's favorite quote: "We don't have a great day, we make it a great day." - Frosty Westering
🎷 Jude has been active in Band, Scholar Bowl, FFA, Boys' Golf, and the High School Play.
💙We asked Jude what his advice would be for incoming freshmen. He said, "School can be somewhat hard at first but if you buckle down and get your work done, then there's a rainbow on the other side of the storm."
😂Jude's funniest memory from high school: "I remember sitting in Mr. Stiles' class one day and we were taking notes. I was a bit tired that day so I started dozing off, but then I woke up to hear Mr. Stiles telling the whole class exactly how he was going to take over the world." We bet he knew that would wake Jude up.
👨‍🎓Jude's post-graduation plans: "After graduating from Putnam County I plan on working full time at Schoonover plumbing, electric, and HVAC and work to get more schooling in that line of work. In 5-10 years, I see myself hopefully raising a family of my own with a nice paying job."
👨‍🔧We asked Jude what his favorite class was at Putnam. He told us, "It has always been AG Construction. I love being able to go out in the shop and build stuff that I need with my own hands and being able to use the tools that I don't have at my own home.
🥰Jude's most memorable moment: "The most memorable moment for me at Putnam County was not just one moment. The most memorable moments for me were every time a teacher would go out of their way to help a student or help me with something I needed. And I'm happy to say that I have hundreds of thousands of those moments at our school."
👨‍🏫We asked Jude what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on him and why. He said, "Even though I only had him for one year, my pick would be Mr. Waugh. He's always upbeat about everything and is always supportive of everyone no matter how bad it is. He's also very thorough in his teachings and if someone doesn't understand the material, he doesn't just move on. He makes sure that everyone should know what they need to know to be a great musician."
💙Jude told us that he is happy to be Putnam Proud!
Congratulations, Jude! We are #PutnamProud of you! #pchsclassof2023 #PutnamProud
