🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Shaylee Venable!
🤍Shaylee is the daughter of Carissa and John Carter.
💙Shaylee's favorite quote: "A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean." - The Lorax
💙Shaylee has participated in Varsity Cheer, and FFA and was an MCCA All-State Backspotter for cheer.
💙We asked Shaylee what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "My advice for incoming freshmen would be to enjoy high school while you can because it doesn't last forever."
👩🏼🎓Shaylee told us, "After graduation, I plan to attend college and pursue a career as a dental assistant."
💙We asked Shaylee what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "I would have to say that my favorite class would have to be A+ tutoring with 4th graders. Every time I walk into their room, they are so excited to see me. They are always in the best mood and can make me laugh or smile no matter what."
😎When asked where she sees herself in 5-10 years, Shaylee replied, "In 5-10 years, I see myself married and starting a family, as well as continuing my career as a dental assistant."
👧👦Shaylee told us about her most memorable moments: "My most memorable moment at Putnam was being able to cheer on our basketball boys at State and winning state cheer my senior year would have to be my most memorable moments. Stepping out on the mat and giving it your all is one of the best feelings because, in the end, you know that all your hard work has paid off."
💙We asked Shaylee what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She replied, "I would say that Coach Lisa Stobbe has had the biggest impact on me. She has always pushed me to work harder and try my best with everything I do. She would never let me give up on anything and would always say "Let's do it again". Thank you for all the opportunities you have given me, Mrs. Stobbe!"
