PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Taylor Powell

🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼‍🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Taylor Powell!
🤍Taylor is the daughter of Bryan and Melissa Powell.
Taylor's favorite quote: "The will of God will never take you to where the grace of God cannot protect you." -Bernadette Devlin
👩🏼‍🏫Taylor has been active in the following clubs and activities: Softball, basketball, FCCLA, Interact (treasurer), SADD, NHS (secretary), Student Council (treasurer).

💙We asked Taylor what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "Do not let other people tell you how to be you."
😂Taylor's funniest memory from high school was: "There's a fly on first base!"
👩🏼‍🎓Taylor plans to attend Mizzou and major in Pre-Med with a minor in Psychology.
🥧We asked Taylor what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "My favorite class was anatomy and physiology because I enjoy the subject and Ms. Hollon made it very fun and interesting."
💙Taylor says, "My most memorable moment at Putnam would have to be receiving flowers from my dad the fist week of freshmen year. He was going to be in North Carolina for about two months and knew I was struggling with a new school. The flowers he sent came with a note that said, "I'm proud to be your dad." After that, I began to feel better about the move."
💙We asked Taylor what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She said, "Mr. Watt, because no matter what I did or what I missed he would always be there to help me and make my day better. He never gave up on me."

Congratulations, Taylor! We are #PutnamProud of you! #pchsclassof2023 #PutnamProud
