Sports Passes Now Available

    Excitement is building for an outstanding year of athletics at Putnam County R-I.  Student athletes and coaches are working hard to exhibit well-played games for fans.  Dedicated sports fans can save money by purchasing a Midget Sports Pass for admission into regular-season PC R-I sporting events, with the exception of tournaments and MSHSAA-sponsored events.  An adult pass is $60, a student pass is $25, senior citizen (over 60) is $25 and a family pass is $135 (the family should enter the gate together).

            Passes may be purchased at the gate of any home sporting event or by calling the high school principal’s office at 947-3361, ext. 305.  Midget Activity Passes also make great gifts!

            Admission prices at Putnam County R-I for the 2014-15 school year are:  Adults, $4; Senior Citizens, $2; Students, $2; Family, $10.

            Fall sports schedules have been printed and are available at Putnam County State Bank and the school offices.  MFA and Putnam County State Bank annually show their school spirit by providing the schedules, which is greatly appreciated by the school.

            Upcoming home varsity events are August 27, Softball vs LaPlata and Friday, August 29 football vs. Princeton.
