Turkey Bowling?

Don't forget to thank the women who feed you!

Things are are little bit different in a rural school. Hunting season is a BIG DEAL.  Most people own some camouflage clothing; hey, we've even seen a camo prom dress. Maintenance staff understand about the mud tracked in by kids who do chores before school. Teachers and staff often know students outside of the classroom, whether it's at church or as a grocery store clerk.  One of the nicest parts of a small school like ours is how the ladies who feed us also spoil us rotten.  Visitors can't believe how extensive our salad bar is every day.  On holidays, these hardworking women really pull out all the stops. Whether it's decorating for Halloween or staging a special event for Thanksgiving, these gals always do their best and then some.  In charge of keeping us fed, well and on time are: Sarah Bradshaw, Food Service Director, Connie Sheehan, Tammy Head, Patience Stottlemyre, Patty Moots, Amy Webb, Joy Anderson, Jodie Wagner, and Jennifer Hendee.  Susan Koenen fills in if someone is gone, and we're thankful for that! Thank you, ladies, for your hard work and kind smiles.  Here's hoping you enjoy the pictures of last Wednesday's Turkey Bowling event.  We know that the winning classrooms will enjoy the plates of cookies they won as prizes!
