Interact Collects Shoes for Orphan Souls
Launch the media gallery 1 playerInteract is hosting a sock and shoe drive in cooperation with Shoes for Orphan Souls, who will eventually collect shoes from all around the country to send to orphans in Guatemala and Kenya. These shoes will help stave off easily preventable diseases and injuries. A contest is being held between 5th period classrooms for the chance to win an ice cream party.Please bring in BRAND NEW socks and shoes, as Shoes for Orphan Souls will not accept used items.
1 pair of socks = 2 points
1 pair of shoes = 10 points
1 pair of shoes and socks brought in together = 15 points
The contest will begin on March 27th and end on April 3rd.
There will also be a teacher contest! The teachers selected are: Mr. Cavanah, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Garber, and Mr. Bailey. If $100 is raised for each teacher, each will have their legs waxed! This assembly will take place in the HS Gym on March 31st.
At lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, Interact will be selling raffle tickets for $1 for the opportunity to wax the legs of the teacher of their choice. Along with the ticket, you will receive a bowl of delicious ice cream for your generosity.
