Taking Science to New Heights
As we ended our Scientific Method unit of study, students were challenged to build a structure that could hold a full cup of water off the ground using only 50 straws and tape. Teams used the engineering design process to help them plan and build their structures. The team whose structure held up the cup of water the highest from the ground would win. Four out of the 6 teams successfully held the water cup in place without spilling and the winning team held the water 17 inches off the ground!! #futureengineers
