We LOVE reading!
Our class LOVES to read! These pictures show the students during one of our favorite times of the day: Read to Self. During Read to Self time, students choose "good fit" books or other reading materials to enjoy. They are also able to choose a spot in the room to read. As you can see from the included pictures, our class carpet is a favorite. Students may also read in scoop chairs, on wobble stools, and all over the floor. Research shows that the more students read, the better readers they become. Read to Self is a time when students are able to practice reading and develop a LOVE for reading.
